Polar Bear Ice Skating Party

Our last few birthday parties for my daughter have included animals themes because from a very young age, she has been fascinated by animal science. Like her fifth birthday creepy crawly party and her sixth birthday ocean animals party, this year's party also had an animal focus. She wanted to celebrate with friends at a polar bear ice skating party. We had so much fun putting the party plan together and sharing her special day with favorite friends and family. I created invitations Read More... {Read More...}

Disney Descendants Party

Growing up with a love for favorite Disney Princesses and Villains, it's easy to wonder what would happen if they had children. The new Disney Descendants is telling exactly that story! Imagine Maleficent's daughter, Mal, and Cruella de Vil's son, Carlos, attending school together while Chad Charming, son of Prince Charming and Cinderella, is not far away with Jane, the Fairy Godmother's shy magic loving daughter. This movie is going to be epic. The movie debuts on the Disney Channel Read More... {Read More...}

Ocean animals birthday party

My daughter has always been fascinated by animals. Last year we celebrated her birthday with a creepy crawly birthday party. This year she wanted to celebrate her sixth birthday by sharing her love for the ocean with her friends at an ocean animals birthday party. We visit SeaWorld® frequently and she has many different favorite animals. Our party decorations shared some of her favorite moments learning about ocean animals with many different SeaWorld team members. She was also very excited Read More... {Read More...}

Back to School Bubble Party with Palmolive

 This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. We are already in our second week back at school and my daughter has done a great job transitioning to kindergarten. She has been so excited for each day but by the end of the first week she was exhausted and looking forward to the weekend. I was also looking forward to the weekend because I was surprising her by inviting some friends over for a back to school bubble party. I planned Read More... {Read More...}

Graduation party idea – celebrate at Great Play

I'm a preschool teacher and my five year old daughter is in my class this year. For the first time I've been able to be a teacher and mommy in the classroom consecutively. We have had such a fun year together and I have loved the opportunity to spend so much time with my daughter's peers. I've cared about every child in each of my classrooms but this year has been especially unique. I'm so fond of each of the kids in the classroom this year and excited to see most of them moving on to Read More... {Read More...}

Creepy Crawly Party Wreath

My daughter's Creepy Crawly Birthday party was full of DIY decorations. With her birthday being in December I was able to purchase all the plastic bugs during after Halloween and Black Friday sales. Our entire home was filled with creepy crawlies and fit perfectly with the party theme! Guests were greeted by a big wreath covered in snakes and bugs on our front door.  The creepy crawly party wreath was inexpensive and incredibly easy to make. Supplies: grape wreath (purchased Read More... {Read More...}

Creepy Crawly Birthday Thank You Cards {free printable}

We celebrated my daughter's fifth birthday with a creepy crawly birthday party. Instead of purchasing invitations and matching thank you cards, I created my own using PicMonkey. During the party we had a fun bug and reptile show resulting in my daughter receiving two pet Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches. With my daughter's love for her new pets, a cockroach on the thank you cards was perfect. The free printable to the creepy crawly birthday party thank you notes is at the bottom of this post Read More... {Read More...}

Creepy Crawly Birthday Party

My daughter is absolutely fascinated by bugs. Last year when she asked for a bug themed birthday party I was told her we could have a garden party with ladybugs and butterflies. She quickly clarified she wanted a party full of creepy crawly bugs like hissing cockroaches, centipedes, and tarantulas. I told her we could save the creepy crawly party for the next year and we had a Fourth Birthday Art Party instead. This year when we started planning her fifth birthday party, she was quick to Read More... {Read More...}

Fourth Birthday Art Party

Last weekend we celebrated my daughter's fourth birthday with a really fun art party.My daughter had so much fun helping me make the party invitations  I printed the invitations on white paper and then used a glue stick to attach them to card stock.  Then I added four paint dots (pink, purple, orange, and blue) to the middle.  The paint splatter was the last detail.  My daughter couldn't believe I told her to splatter paint all over the invitations!  I quickly made an a matching envelope with Read More... {Read More...}
