Easy Football Party Ideas

What’s better than college football? Celebrating college football with your favorite “fired up fans” friends! Last year I threw some epic parties with these college football party ideas. We’re back for another awesome college football season awesome college football season and will be using these easy football party ideas to host many game parties at our house. With Dr Pepper®, Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Dressing and Kingsford® Original Charcoal with Applewood from the Walmart Online Grocery Pickup, it’s easy to throw together a fun party for your neighbors to celebrate the season together.

The extended driveway in our new home is the perfect place to host a college football party. In our new neighborhood, parties happen often and we have a great group of friends to invite over for a spontaneous celebration. With just a few supplies stocked at home for parties you can easily put together a spontaneous homegating party too.

Guest Football Fan Trophies

Create fun trophies to present to your guests as they show their ultimate love for college football. Print these trophies on 4” x 6” photo paper then glue to wood plaques.

Fry Bar

Let your guests make fries the way they want them with an easy fry bar. Include fries, green chilies, Hidden Valley Ranch, cheese, salsa, bacon and more so friends can make their own ultimate college football party fries in these DIY big game snack bags.

Bacon Ranch Fries

Ingredients:

  • Seasoned fries
  • Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing
  • Bacon
  • Cheddar Cheese

Layer all ingredients then enjoy while your cheer on your favorite team! Hidden Valley dressing is the perfect addition to salads, veggies and meats so it’s a great condiment to add to your football party food table.

Dr Pepper Ice Cream Shakes

Last year’s college football party ideas included these Dr Pepper ice cream shakes and this year during our favorite sports season I’m serving them in mason jar football mugs. Use washi tape to embellish mason jars for your party. We used a multi colored glitter tape but these would also be fun with your favorite team colors for specific games. Dr Pepper has been part of college football for over 25 years and is the official drink of college football fans. Add it to your college football party so guests know you know your college football history!

Make it easy for guests to enjoy your football party drinks by stocking mason jar football mugs filled with a scoop of ice cream and straws and the Dr Pepper seasonal football cans in a bucket of ice. Just open a can and pour into the mug for an ice cream shake.

Speaking of washi tape, use it to easily decorate everything on your table with football inspired lines.

Donut Wall

Already having a pegboard at home, it was easy to create a donut wall. More than a few years ago for a holiday gift my dad and brother made me a pegboard to help me keep my home office organized. I brought it outside for our football party and inserted wooden dowels to display donuts. The donuts were purchased at the Walmart bakery and then iced with green frosting using a decorator tip similar to when I made these game day cupcake toppers.

Grill

The easiest way to feed a big group of people at a football party is by using the grill. Kingsford Charcoal with Applewood gives great flavor to your grilled burgers and is always a guest favorite.

Kingsford is our preferred charcoal because it’s made in the USA with 100% natural North American ingredients. Our Dr Pepper ranch burgers last year would taste great with the Kingsford Applewood Charcoal variety too.

These easy football party ideas will make showing your ultimate football fan spirit fun and great for all to enjoy. Whether it’s hosted in your backyard, poolside, in your driveway or tailgating at the game, invite all your “fired up fans” friends to celebrate with you.
