DIY Sofia the First family costumes: Crackle, Sofia, and Clover

This Halloween has been full of costume parties so we have been busy getting creative. We recently went to Disneyland to celebrate at Mickey's Halloween Party. It wasn't until the very last minute my daughter decided she would like to wear her Princess Sofia dress to the event. She suggested my husband and I wear matching costumes. We quickly started designing our Crackle, Sofia, and Clover costumes. The easy DIY project only took a couple of hours to complete. I used a sewing machine for a few Read More... {Read More...}

Don’t forget your stroller at Disneyland…you might get peed on!

I am an overachieving mom. I wanted my daughter out of diapers before she was two, reading by four, and definitely not sitting  in a stroller at five. Sometimes it  takes a funny mishap, like your daughter peeing on her daddy's head at Disneyland, to take a step back and realize maybe it is okay to push a five year old around in a stroller! To make the deal even better, through Read More... {Read More...}

When I asked her most favorite thing to do with her dad, she quickly responded, "spinning on the teacups!" We visit Disneyland often and the memories they have made on the teacups over the Read More... {Read More...}

Dining in Disneyland: Cafe Orleans (Monte Cristo Sandwich review)

Earlier this year while attending the TECHmunch LA conference at Disneyland, I had the opportunity to learn about Disneyland dining options. As often as my family goes to Disneyland, I already considered myself a Disney food expert but was blown away by all the new food I discovered during the conference. Visiting Disneyland with out my daughter allowed me to spend more time in a few park restaurants with friends. With my family we are big fans of quick dining options like the Hungry Bear Read More... {Read More...}

Disney Social Media Moms Celebration 2014 #DisneySMMoms

From the time I first learned about the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration happening each year at varying Disney resorts, I dreamed of receiving an invitation. I grew up visiting Disneyland each summer with my family while my husband grew up visiting Disney World. Together we are a Disney loving pair with a five year old daughter that could navigate herself through Disneyland because we visit so frequently. From our daughter's first Disney pin trading experience to celebrating a birthday in Read More... {Read More...}
