Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Party Ideas
I helped plan an easy Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Party and love how the easy details all fell together. The star backdrop with clouds is a new favorite and my next party theme might be created around being able to decorate with clouds and stars again.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Party
Decorations
This entire party idea was inspired by this backdrop and when I realized how easily you could attach clouds and stars to glitter tulle. It would make an excellent photo booth area with props or a perfect hanging decoration behind your party table.
Star backdrop
Supplies:
- Polyester Stuffing
- Gold foam stars
- Glue dots
- Gold fabric
- Gold glitter tulle
Backdrop tip: use a tablecloth or sheet behind the glitter tulle if you don’t have a coordinating fabric piece.
Hang the fabric with then layer with glitter tulle. Use the glue dots to attach small clusters of the stuffing and foam stars.
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star sign
- Black foam board
- Gold vinyl to cut letters with cutting machine or gold letter stickers
Star sign tip: cut gold letters with a Cricut to be able to use your preferred font to coordinate with invitations.
Food and Drinks
The star theme feels most appropriate with brunch items like powdered donuts, waffles and fruit.
A simple cake with gold frosting and edible glitter is a pretty addition to the party table.
A tea bar is an easy to create and personal option for party guests. Simply add mugs and a kettle with warm water to your party table and include the basics – favorite tea bags, cream, honey, sugar and syrups.
Guestbook
A Twinkle Twinkle Little Star book doubles as a guestbook and creates a nice memory to save for later.
