Boating Fun Chicken Quesadilla featuring Foster Farms Oven Ready Entrees

June 13, 2013 By: Heather3 Comments

disclosure

Cooking for my picky four year old daughter is challenging.  I am constantly bringing different foods into our home to give her a variety and hopefully pick up some new favorites.  Tonight for dinner she ate an entire chicken quesadilla.  The boating fun chicken quesadilla was easy to prepare with Foster Farms Oven Ready Entrees.

Foster Farms Oven Ready Entrees are available in several different flavors including Chili Verde, Honey Roasted Garlic, Roasted Red Pepper, and Zesty Thai.  I used the Chili Verde chicken breasts to make the quesadilla.

The chicken goes straight from the refrigerator to the oven.  Simply slit the film on the tray and bake in your preheated oven for 30 minutes.

The chicken came out of the oven ready to be served.  I shredded the chicken to prepare it for the quesadilla.

I layered the flavorful chicken and cheddar cheese between two tortillas.

While the quesadilla was baking in the oven for 15 minutes, I prepared the rest of the ingredients to make my daughter’s plate interesting.

Corn, an orange, and carrots were used to create the fun meal.

I cut the quesadilla in thirds and used one piece to make the boat.  A small amount of blue food coloring added to the corn created the perfect ocean for the boat.  The carrots and an orange slice were the final additions to the plate.

My daughter really enjoyed her boating fun chicken quesadilla!

Foster Farms Oven Ready Entrees provide full flavored meals with out the hassle of timely preparation.  I’m looking forward to trying all the other flavors.  The new product is available in more than 1,500 retailer through the Western United States (from Colorado to Hawaii).
