Shamrock Farms Tour {Arizona Family Fun}

A couple of weeks ago my daughter and I were invited to visit the Shamrock Farms dairy farm.  I have lived in Arizona my entire life and this was my first visit to their farm.  We had an amazing experience. The farm began in 1922 with just 22 cows.  It is now the largest family owned farm in the Southwest and is currently in operation under their third family generation.  The farms sees 10 to 12 thousand visitors each year.  Each visitor at the farm Read More... {Read More...}

Scavenger Hunt at the Zoo

We love going to the Phoenix Zoo in the Spring.  The weather is absolutely perfect and we definitely make the most out of being outside before the summer heat arrives.  We have been visiting the zoo weekly and are enjoying seeing all the new baby animals.  A couple of weeks ago we visited with a friend and her four year old daughter.  She brought along an easy scavenger hunt for the girls to add a new educational element to our visit.  They loved checking off Read More... {Read More...}

Jeff Jenkins of Arizona Lake and Pond coordinated the entire event for our community and made sure we all had a Read More... {Read More...}

Old Tucson Studios {Arizona Family Fun}

Yesterday our family went to visit Old Tucson Studios, a fun and historical attraction where western movies and shows have been filmed since 1939.  Old Tucson was home to The Little House on the Prairie and has seen major western movie productions, including scenes from Tombstone.  The film history of Old Tucson alone is a reason to want to visit.  Growing up in Arizona, I remember a family visit to the park when I was just 7 years old.  I was very excited to share this fun experience with my Read More... {Read More...}

DownEast Home – Gilbert, Arizona

Last night I attended a fun event with some blogging friends at the new DownEast Basics Home & Clothing store in Gilbert, Arizona.  I'm already a big fan of DownEast Basics clothing and was super excited to hear there would also be a home store just a few minutes from my home.  The new store offers name brand home decor and furnishings at 40 - 90% off national prices.  In addition to their already awesome clothing line, the new store carries other name brand apparel too. This wasn't Read More... {Read More...}

The Color Run – Arizona
