I’ve been online with this blog for over 10 years and have shared everything from our daughters’ birth stories and parenting struggles to favorite travel experiences and food. More than a decade in this space has seen me evolve from a new mom navigating a corporate layoff as I journeyed through influencer marketing, worked at several different influencer networks and agencies and to where I am today – still here sharing everything I’ve learned along the way. This blog has been a deeply personal space and one I love sharing with you. The community I’ve grown here and my influencer friends are so important to me and I realized I transitioned to a very comfortable place where it’s been years since I dug into what my audience wants from me. While reading Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers by Russell Brunson and participating in a 30-day social post challenge recently, I was able to really dive back into my content calendar and what YOU want from me.
Russell Brunson is a Best-Selling Author & CEO of $100M software company ClickFunnels. He has built a following of over a million entrepreneurs, sold hundreds of thousands of copies of his books and popularized the concept of sales funnels. In 2014, Russell and partner Todd Dickerson launched ClickFunnels, which became the fastest-growing non-venture backed software company in the world.
There’s a much longer version ahead but in short, many of you are here to follow me navigate my parenting experience with active daughters. My oldest daughter, just 11-years-old, is on a competitive youth rock climbing team and many of you are here to learn about how she started participating in the sport.
We also have years of experience navigating her working as the SeaWorld Kid Blogger. Some of you are here to learn about what we have learned by having a child with an online presence. The good, the bad, the ugly – it’s all been a wild ride and we’ve shared most of it here, on this blog.
The Traffic Secrets book incorporates a 30-day challenge to learn key strategies to increase your site traffic. Through the challenge, I was able to refocus my energy for this blog. It was a reminder that you are here to laugh, learn and love through my experiences. We have so much to offer our community and I have years of learning opportunities not shared on this blog that would make excellent posts to inspire and teach others.
