Skip the resolution and choose an inspiring thought instead

Each year, just before New Years, I draft a long list of goals for the upcoming year. Instead of making my regular New Years resolution list including all the basics (eat healthier, exercise, increase my rainy day fund, etc.), I’m choosing one simple reminder to help me grow in the right direction. Take a moment to look around and enjoy life. Whether it’s family, pets, material belongings, or work opportunities – enjoy what you have. We have too many good things in our lives to focus on the negative. 2013 was a great year and I’m looking forward to enjoying 2014!

New Years Resolution 2014

In just two days, tomorrow will be yesterday. Time passes too quickly to focus on the negative. Let the challenging days glide by and spend your time noticing all the blessings in your life.

Are you making a 2014 New Years resolution?
