Strolling into a storybook village with the opportunity to spend time with Disney Princesses sounds like a dream come true. The new Fantasy Faire at Disneyland is where you can see live performances, shop, snack, and greet the Disney Princesses.
Fantasy Faire is located just beyond Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. The Carnations Plaza Gardens was recently transformed into a storybook village perfect for any princess.
As you stroll through the village you will see decor from many different Disney films including classics as well as new family favorites.
The Royal Theatre is where you can see live performances from some of your favorite Disney Princesses and their friends. With show times all through out the day, be sure to see stories from Tangled and Beauty and the Beast under the open air tent.
The Fairy Tale Treasures shop is full of everything you need to completely transform into a princess. My daughter was amazed by all the pretty dresses, hats, and accessories in the shop.
In anticipation of greeting the Disney Princesses we purchased a new autograph book and pen.
The Royal Hall is home to many different Disney Princesses and you can meet up to three of them during each visit. Most of the outdoor line is covered and my daughter enjoyed chatting with other excited guests.
The regal decor in the hall was inspired by the Sleepy Beauty Castle. Each Disney Princess has their own private greeting area with Disney’s PhotoPass™ Photographers standing by to capture the magical moments. My daughter easily could have spent the day chatting with the Princesses and sharing the excitement of her new autograph book.
With the possibility of seeing different Disney Princesses each time you visit, The Royal Hall is an experience you will want to do again. We have seen much shorter lines to greet the Princesses early in the day. I suggest visiting Fantasy Faire as the park opens. Utilizing Disneyland’s early admission options is something to consider when planning your next visit.
Guests visiting the Bibbid Bobbidi Boutique get priority access to greet the princesses with out having to wait in line. We had an incredible experience at the boutique last year for my daughter’s fourth birthday. For planning tips, be sure to visit Celebrating a Birthday at Disneyland: How to Make It Amazing!.
Which Disney Princess are you most excited to meet when you visit Fantasy Faire?
Aww…we’re going to Disney World in January. It will be the nieces’ first trip. I can’t wait! (And we’re doing a Princess dinner one night…I’m kind of excited for that myself!)
