My morning cup of coffee is a special part of my “me time” routine. I have a two year old daughter at home and an eight year old daughter with a very busy after school schedule. I’m always on the go with these girls and working from home means my office hours are usually well into those dark hours when everyone else in our house is asleep. International Delight® Caramel Macchiato from Walmart makes that “me time” extra special and with the new half gallon size, my favorite cup of coffee doesn’t have to miss its best flavor. My caramel macchiato brownies recipe is making a special appearance in our home for a visit from my mom this week because it’s my favorite way to remind her of our shared love for morning coffee.
Mornings that start with a warm cup of coffee and a favorite creamer are my very favorite. I enjoy working early in my home office while my daughters are still sleeping. The quiet mornings are my “me time” and they wouldn’t feel the same without a cup of creamy coffee on my desk. Caramel Macchiato Brownies
- Prepared brownies from box mix
- 1 cup International Delight® Caramel Macchiato
- 1/4 cup instant coffee granules
- 4 oz frozen whipped topping
- 6.8 oz vanilla instant pudding mix
- 20 chocolate and cream sandwich cookies (crushed)
- 2 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate (grated)
While prepared brownies are cooling, mix International Delight® Caramel Macchiato creamer with instant coffee until granules are fully dissolved.
In same bowl add frozen whipped topping and pudding mix. Whisk until creamy then gently fold in crushed cookies. Spread caramel macchiato topping evenly over brownies.
Top brownies with grated chocolate and enjoy brownies with a cup of coffee.
