FROZEN soundtrack CD giveaway and Elsa tracing activity

I’ve been listening to my daughter sing her favorite FROZEN songs everyday since the movie was in theaters last year. The momentum of the movie certainly has not died in our house. We celebrated her birthday with a FROZEN day last year and she has wanted to wear her favorite Elsa dress every other day to kindergarten. She loved the FROZEN sing along and her preferred breakfast is still Olaf donuts and snowflake pancakes. This week she had fun with an Elsa tracing activity while we listed to the new FROZEN soundtrack CD. The CD is full of our favorite songs and my daughter is already planning daily dance parties. The new FROZEN soundtrack CD and vinyl is available to purchase September 30th but Walt Disney Records is giving away FROZEN CDs to two lucky Brie Brie Blooms readers.

Elsa tracing activity tutorial

Supplies:

• foil
• cardstock
• Elsa coloring page (free printable included in post)
• sharp pencil or fine point pen
• two paper clips
• glue stick 

Download and print the Elsa coloring page below. 

 

Completely cover the cardstock with foil. Fold the edges over the back and secure with glue stick.

Use paperclips to secure Elsa coloring page to front of foil page. Trace each line with a sharp pencil or pen. My five year old daughter spent an hour carefully tracing the lines on the page.

She was amazed to see the lines etched into the foil when she removed the coloring page.

What could make this project even more fun? Doing it while listening to the new FROZEN soundtrack CD! My daughter has been singing her favorite FROZEN songs for the past year and now she can sing her heart out in the car and at home while listening to the FROZEN soundtrack.
