When you’re busy it’s challenging to find the time to make home cooked meals for your family. I have been turning to the crock pot more frequently because it’s easy for me to start dinner before work in the morning. I love coming home to a yummy smelling kitchen and not having to worry about what is for dinner. This week I made slow cooker tomato and brown sugar pork chops.
Ingredients:
- 4 thick cut boneless pork chops
- 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
- 4 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp dry ground mustard
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- non stick cooking spray (not pictured)
1) Mix brown sugar and dry ground mustard in small bowl.
2) Slice lemon.
3) Spray bottom of slow cooker with cooking spray. Layer pork chops on bottom.
4) Sprinkle pork chops with lemon juice. Top with brown sugar and mustard mixture.
5) Cover with tomato sauce.
6) Cook in slow cooker for 6 hours on low setting.
Your easy meal is delicious with tender pork chops and sauce to dip bread.

Wow… those pork chops look great!! I can tell how tender and succulent they look. Great recipe. 🙂
I love the ease of this recipe, and it looks so delicious, Heather!
Yummy, what a terrific idea! My husband and son love pork chops, but I don’t make them often! This will be a nice treat for them.. maybe for game day! 😉 Thanks for the recipe!
This looks great! I try to make pork chops every so often but always wind up using the same recipe – I need to change it up! And this one is so simple!
My grandmother, mother, and now me make these delicious pork chops only using tomato sauce, worchestershire sauce, brown sugar, and spicy brown sugar and cooking them slowly in the oven.
