Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival (Phoenix review)

I am a Feld Family Ambassador and have received complimentary tickets in exchange for sharing information and my opinion about this event.

When I told my daughter we were invited to Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival in Phoenix she couldn’t wait to attend. Our family had so much fun at the concert together. As the show ended I asked her favorite part. She answered, “Everything was awesome!” We danced, sang, and laughed through the entire show.

The show began with an exciting introduction of our favorite characters: Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. Each of them showed off with musical instruments and dance moves. The crowd was cheering and singing along to familiar songs.

Next the Genie joined the show. My daughter and her friend were so excited because they expected Jasmine to make an appearance next. I enjoyed the reminder of Robin Williams and all the Genie’s dancing. Just as expected Aladdin and Jasmine brought the show to life with their story and performance together.

The mermaids came next and treated us to a fun performance of “Put a Ring on it”. We had seen the mermaids perform at Disney on Ice Rockin’ Ever After earlier this year and I was excited to see them dance again. Next we had a brief intermission to take a bathroom break and visit the concession. The fun Disney merchandise, snow cones, and popcorn were appealing but my daughter and her friend had their hearts set on the colorful cotton candy.

After the intermission we were surprised by a special performance from Ariel. Ursula and Prince Eric were fun to watch too as the story of The Little Mermaid was told.

Toy Story characters showed us that horses can jump rope. Bullseye joined in the fun after Jesse and Woody showed us their jump roping skills.

The show ended with a big bang complete with confetti falling from the ceiling. All the stars of the show came out to wave goodbye.

My daughter and her friend sang all the way home from the show. They came home with some new dance moves and couldn’t stop talking about the fun they had.
