Slow Cooker Rotisserie Pork

Our family has a busy schedule between work, school, homework, sports practices, competitions, game days and more. There’s not much time left for family meals but we make it a priority because most days it’s the only time the four of us are seated in the same place for more than just a few minutes. Knowing we are headed into our busiest season for activities, I’m using a few tricks to help keep meal prep to a minimum so we can enjoy home cooked meals without me spending the afternoons in the kitchen. I’m so excited for the upcoming fall season and cooler weather to cook more with the slow cooker. This week I made slow cooker rotisserie pork with Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork from Walmart. The quick and easy meal is a family favorite and had our kitchen smelling incredible all day.

Smithfield Fresh Marinated Pork and veggies make a perfect easy slow cooker meal.

Since moving into our new home almost a year ago we’ve had a growing list of to do projects. Most of them are timely and not something I can knock out in an afternoon but quickly prepping a meal for the slow cooker meant I could spend the rest of the day checking off hanging wallpaper in our kitchen. Next up is installing the faux fireplace we’ve been refinishing – there are definitely more slow cooker meals with Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork on our weekly menu.

I spent the afternoon wallpapering our kitchen because I quickly put dinner in the slow cooker.

Smithfield Marinated Fresh Pork can be prepared any way you like: grilled, sautéed, roasted or in the slow cooker. Over the summer we made pulled pork on a gas grill and used it for pork tacos and pineapple salsa. This week we made slow cooker rotisserie pork and biscuits with so easy pumpkin spice butter.
