Discovering that Whole Foods Market in Tempe carries vinyl records is just another reason to love vising the grocery store and market. My husband recently gave me a Norah Jones record with the song we danced to at our wedding. It is now framed in my office and I would love to add to the wall with a collection of discs with memorable moments.
The market recently partnered with independent record label, River Jones Music and now carries vinyl records and CD’s from over twenty local and regional bands. The new partnership will be celebrated at a free music event with live entertainment from local band Ruca.

The free event will include entertainment, demos from local suppliers, and fun treats including whoopie pies decorated like vinyl records. Other special food items include empanadas, tamales, and creating your own custom guacamole.
Prior to working as a preschool teacher and from home, I worked in an office across the street from a Whole Foods Market. I have great memories spending many lunch breaks at their deli.
I also remember being pregnant visiting their bakery frequently. The yummy chocolates and baked goods are amazing! I’m looking forward to seeing the vinyl record whoopie pies for the event!
