Let’s pretend we can have all our dreams come true this month. What do you ask for? A clean house and an easy way to feed our family good choices on the busiest days full of after school activities. While we can’t get everything we want, Healthy Choice is making it possible to eat well on those busy days. New Healthy Choice Power Bowls are made with a combination of nutrient-dense vegetables, proteins and whole grains. The frozen meals include an intentional balance of nutrient-packed veggies, natural proteins and whole grains to fuel a busy lifestyle. May is Women’s Health Month and the perfect time to focus on yourself. Just because you’re busy doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have the option of fast meals that still offer all the ingredients that matter.
Healthy Choice Power Bowls are packaged in serving bowls made from plant-based fiber. The recycled bagasse and soft wood bowl is much different than the plastic bowls sold by many other frozen food companies. My eight year old daughter is the SeaWorld guest kid blogger and cares very much about the environment. Everyday she shares something new she has learned about easy ways we can help keep the oceans clean for marine animals. Minimizing our use of plastics is an easy way to make a huge difference as it takes an average of 450 years for one bottle to completely degrade.
As a mother, I’m so much more aware of my health. Our daughters look at me as their role model and I know they are watching every little move. By eating healthy and creating healthy habits at home we are empowering our children to make good for you choices when we aren’t able to stand beside them to make sure they are moving in the right direction. Before I had my daughters, at the age of 25, I had heart surgery because of an undiagnosed birth defect. As I get older, knowing my heart history, it’s important to make good decisions for my health. Women’s Health Month is all about empowering women with the right information to make those good decisions. Healthy Choice Power Bowls are part of that plan – eat the ingredients that matter. The recognizable ingredients and bold flavors make it easy.
There are over 16g of protein and 6-8g of fiber in every bowl. The power bowls take less than five minutes to prepare and can be served in the same bowl. The Korean-Inspired Beef Bowl has flavors and spices inspired by Korean cuisine. The spicy bowl is made with all natural USDA choice beef and has a big variety of vegetables and shiitake mushrooms. The beef, mushrooms and vegetables are served on top of brown & red rice, red quinoa and black barley with a spicy gochujang and soy sauce topped with black & white sesame seeds.
The Adobo Chicken Bowl is made with all natural pulled chicken breast with vegetables served on top of brown & red rice, red quinoa and black barley with a guajillo chili sauce topped with roasted pepitas. The latin inspired flavors are not spicy and this bowl is my youngest daughter’s favorite. The all natural chicken raised without antibiotics make me happy my daughters are asking for seconds.
Power Bowls are also offered in two additional flavors: Cuban Inspired Pork Bowl and Chicken Sausage & Barley Bowl.

These power bowls really do look so much nicer than the classic plastic microwave meals. They are in fact making me hungry and I want some now! Great product for busy moms who like to eat healthy.
Those power bowls look REALLY good. I feel like there are so many times when I am in a rush and I end up grabbing junk – this is a MUCH better option.
These actually look good. I’m always trying to find quick lunch items that I can scarf down while holding my baby and tending to my preschooler. This looks easy and healthy!
Oh these look delicious! I should pick some up for days I don’t feel like cooking! I love the fact that they are made out of recyclable material.
These look very tasty and of course a healthy lunch alternative. I should get some on hand for quick lunches here at home.
These look super good, especially for microwavable meals! I don’t own a microwave though lol. I wonder if I could heat them up in the oven if I put them into a pan
These look good and Healthy Choice is a brand I trust. I need these for lunch, I hate taking time to make something healthy.
They all sound delicious and I like that they are using alternative material for the bowls. I know how important eating healthy is and It’s a kinda’ ironic reading about your hear issues, because just today I saw a cardiologist and they have scheduled a battery of tests to find out exactly what’s going on with my heart.
That adobo chicken bowl sounds amazing!! I really like Healthy Choice frozen dinners but these sound even better than what they’ve had on the market. Curious to check these out!
I love those bowls!!! I’ve started paying closer attention to packaging lately and I’m trying my best to reduce plastic use in whatever ways I can. I love that Healthy Choice meals aren’t in the typical plastic packaging… a huge plus in my book.
I did not even know it was women’s health month! I feel like this is something I should know! Argh! I love this idea though and I love power bowls.
Oh man these look so nice! I hope we start getting them here in the UK, I’d love to try them! I’m so tired of boring unhealthy remade food it’s unreal! x
Everything looks good but I’m so excited about the Chicken Sausage bowl.. I hope it will be available here in our place.
These look so good. I’m always looking for good and healthy lunch options like this! It’s hard to get quick things that are good for you too.
I’ve made these types of bowls from scratch but it takes so much effort. Glad to see I can pick these up from Healthy Choice and have them ready at any time.
These look so flavorful! I love one bowl meal that is healthy and nutritionally good for me. Pinning!
Brie, this looks so yummy! It’s very important to teach our children to take care of our environment. I love what you are doing!
These look like a perfect solution for my busy days at work! I also love how the bowl is made from plant based material.
Ooooo first time I have heard of power bowls, but they sure do look yummy! I will have to check them out next time I’m grocery shopping
These power bowls sound really amazing! It would be nice to have a few of these at home especially when you’re busy and have no time to cook.
