We’re finally getting settled in our new home and only have a handful of boxes left to unpack. The kitchen was the very first room to get fully unpacked and it’s been a favorite place to spend early evenings. Just this week I stopped what I was doing to breathe in a moment I truly could not have imagined as anymore perfect. The fall weather has our Arizona temperatures starting to cool and our patio doors were open with both my daughters outside playing in the backyard with neighborhood friends. New friendships and little girls giggling, crisp fall air and the smell of an incredible five ingredients one sheet pan lemon garlic recipe in the oven created this beautiful moment. Moving was scary for oldest daughter because she wasn’t sure if she would make friends quickly. She was nervous about moving to a street where she didn’t know if there were any children her age. Her fears were quickly overcame as our first week here she learned we live on a street full of girls her age with many common interests (hello slime making in our backyard!). As her mommy, I was quite relieved and have really enjoyed watching these new friendships blossom. Another contribution to my perfect evening preparing dinner in my new kitchen was the one sheet pan lemon garlic shrimp recipe didn’t have me worried about the cooking mess because our kitchen is fully stocked with Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots from Kroger for the ultimate fast kitchen cleanup. You might have already seen me oversharing my love for our new appliances. Our silly photos scrolling across our new refrigerator door while streaming music also helped to create the perfect ambiance in the kitchen.
The Scotch-Brite™ Brand has many different products that I love having in my kitchen to make cooking a much more enjoyable experience. Most days I’m cooking and also dealing with the cleanup by myself because of our busy activities schedule. Squeezing in time for homecooked meals doesn’t leave much time for cleanup before homework, baths and bedtime. Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Dots Sponge and Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Dots Sponge can be used on many different kitchen surfaces and rinse completely clean for continued use. The Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Dots Dishwand and Scotch-Brite® Heavy Duty Scrub Dots Dishwand work excellent on dishes and take away the need for soaking your messiest pans.
Save $1.00 off any two Scrub Dots items with this Scotch-Brite™ coupon 10/4 – 12/31.
Five Ingredients One Sheet Pan Lemon Garlic Shrimp Recipe
- Favorite vegetables
- Olive oil
- Garlic salt
Our favorite fresh vegetables change seasonally and this easy one sheet pan meal can be made with many different variations depending on your vegetable selection. We used asparagus and brussels sprouts in the recipe this week.
Slice fresh lemons and season vegetables with garlic salt.
Arrange shrimp, lemon slices and vegetables on sheet pan. Drizzle in olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Cook for 30 minutes at 425°. I also put a fresh loaf of bread we purchased from Kroger in the oven with about 10 minutes left.
The lemon and garlic makes your kitchen smell amazing. Allow to cool and serve directly from the pan.
After dinner I did a quick clean up with Scotch-Brite™. My daughters enjoyed the meal but for me, the conversation and easy clean up was my favorite part of dinner. “Our neighborhood is the best,” are words every parent wants to hear after a big move. Although our oldest daughter still has many friends from our previous neighborhood she would like to see more often, she is really enjoying making new friends and playing at the neighborhood parks.
We shop for Scotch-Brite™ cleaning products at our local Kroger grocer, Fry’s food. Look closely and you might spy little sister striking a pose at the end of the aisle. My big helper likes shopping with me and enjoys clean up time even more than I do. Scotch-Brite™ items are safe for her to help in the kitchen with cleanup too.
