We’re all settled in our new home and somehow have managed to unpack hundreds of boxes in the past couple of weeks. Our last home was very loved but this house really feels like home. Honestly it’s still a little surreal that we actually live here. With an endless and growing list of things I absolutely adore about being here, the kitchen is a favorite place to be. The refrigerator I had been eyeing for the past five years might have something to do with that but more than anything, it’s been a space we are enjoying together. When my husband cooks it’s all about the Italian meals but I’ve been having fun teaching my oldest daughter how to prepare some of the meals I remember from my childhood too. No Yolks broad egg white noodles were used often in my home growing up and have created some of my daughters’ favorite recipes on our kitchen table too.
Now through November 15, 2017, enter to win one of 5 $100 gift cards in the No Yolks sweepstakes. I-C will randomly select 5 winners from all program entries and will facilitate fulfillment of the winning prizes.
Our very favorite recipe using No Yolks egg white noodles is beef stroganoff. I remember my mom making this same dinner in her crockpot when I was little. Just thinking about it I can actually see my childhood home and the dishes we used. Steak, gravy, sour cream and egg noodles – no fail parenting genius. Little did I know then, that same recipe had been made for many generations in our family before too. Many of the recipes my mom made in our home came from my dad’s grandmother. She lived a couple of hours away from us and we celebrated every Thanksgiving at her home. Homemade biscuits and classic dishes were always looked forward to. Although my oldest daughter won’t remember, I’m so grateful for the smiles they shared when she was just a baby.
Beef stroganoff is just one of the many recipes we make with No Yolks noodles. The healthy egg noodle alternative is made from egg whites and has no cholesterol and is low in fat and sodium. Unlike other alternative type recipe ingredients, they hold true to their promise and your family won’t notice the difference. They cook up smooth, firm and fluffy and stay that way in recipes. They are great for casserole dishes, soups and more. The noodles are available at nationwide grocers in a variety including broad, extra broad, fine, dumplings, kluski and stir-fry, The possibilities for recipes really are endless.
In our new kitchen, thanks to the previous homeowners not leaving appliances, we upgraded our refrigerator to something that had been on my ultimate kitchen wish list for years. Now when we’re wondering what’s for dinner, we can look up No Yolks on Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest right from our refrigerator door. This week we’ll be stepping out of our normal egg white noodle comfort zone and creating something different for dinner. How do you cook with No Yolks?

It’s really a lovely alternative to noodles. I’m glad you’re enjoying your new home and that you’re having the best time there! It’s so nice to be able to make the recipes that you loved when you were a child.
These are the egg noodles I have been buying since well, forever. My mom always bought them, so I grew up eating them.
I will have to checkout these No Yolks they seem so healthy. I use pasta in a lot of my one pot dishes so this will be one I try. the kitchen looks great in the new place enjoy.
I guess I’m not very conscious about my noodle-buying, I have no idea if these are the ones I use or not.Yikes!
You sure brought me back to when I was young and my Mom made beef stroganoff too! I swear she used No Yolks too but I’m not sure.. let’s say she did! LOL
My mom used to make beef stroganoff too! The real kind as well as the Hamburger Helper kind. Thanks for the dinner suggestion!
I noticed you have my dream fridge! 🙂 My mother used to make so many different recipes with these no yolk noodles. They were yummy from what I remember.
Pasta is a favorite around the house and I wouldn’t mind giving this brand a try. It sounds so much better than your usual pasta.
My mom used to make beef stroganoff too…To me, it’s such a comfort food. I’ve made it for our family once or twice. I’ve never tried this brand of egg noodle before.
Congrats on your new home! I have never tried these before but they sound like a great alternative. I hate the heavy feeling of noodles/pasta.
We really love using the No Yolk Egg Noodles. They are really versatile and we use them in soups and when I make beef stroganoff. This is actually the only brand we buy.
Glad to hear you are settling in nicely to your new home! Moving is always so stressful. No Yolks are literally my favorite noodle – ever! i have been using them pretty much forever!
I don’t think I’ve heard of egg white paste. What’s the taste difference? I want to try.
I use these noodles in my chicken noodle soup. I always have. They are great! Also pretty good in beef noodles.
These seem like such a great alternative! All these soups and chowder probably already have enough fat in them already!

I love No Yolks. My mom used to buy them when I was a kid. Now I make them for my kids with just some butter or put them in my soups.
I love cooking with these noodles. I cannot always eat eggs so these are perfect for me.
These are the noodles of choice in our house. I love how light and fluffy that they cook up to be.
I love these noddles when I can find them!! We use them in everything, but I love them in my chicken noodle soup!
beef stroganoff is one of my favorite receipes, but it is not as good without the right noodles. I have to try this brand, have seen it around, but out of some reason, I never picked it up before. Thanks for the idea. Blessings!
I love these egg noodles! Makes me want to make a yummy dish with these!
I love adding noodles to dinner recipes. The fact that these noodles don’t have yolks makes them a healthier option.
