If you were born in the 80’s you were lucky to get to watch Justin Timberlake evolve from a cutie on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to the superstar he is today. I did. I remember watching him during his Clubhouse days having so much fun singing along. Then in high school N’Sync was wildly popular. I was the BIGGEST Justin fan! His curly hair, his smile, his style, his music…I loved everything about him!
My best friends and I listened to his music every day. We had N’Sync playing on our portable disc players and car CD players everywhere we went. During volleyball practice and on road trips, to and from lunch, hanging out after school, getting ready for school in the mornings – EVERYWHERE!
We all moved on to college and luckily Justin came right along with us. His music continued getting better and his image was maturing. He was our age and absolutely an entertainer we felt connected to. He went on to star in some of our favorite movies and continued growing with us. I’m over 30 years old and still absolutely adore every new thing he does!
In my pre-k classroom, during our music time, I constantly play his music. Obviously there are a few tracks that are not appropriate for little kids but there are also some great dance tracks. My class loves dancing and some of our favorite songs are on my Justin playlist.
I was ecstatic when I learned of the release date for Justin’s new album, The 20/20 Experience. It was released earlier this week, March 19.
I had to wait the entire day to finally go out and buy my copy. My daughter and I left school and headed straight to Walmart.
I put the disc in the car and chose an extra long route to get home. I didn’t mind being stuck in traffic with Justin singing to me!
The new album is amazing and has 10 tracks you’ll love! To celebrate the release of the new CD, you can purchase The 20/20 Experience from Walmart for only $7. The promotional price is valid this week only, March 19 – 24.
If you’ve been living under a rock and aren’t following Justin on his social media pages yet, be sure to check him out on Twitter and Facebook. You can also connect with Walmart on Twitter and Facebook.
