I knew instantly what I would make with all the crafting supplies I recently received from My Next Style. My daughter and I spend a lot of time at the library together. She loves books and asks to visit the library almost daily. I am very excited about her curiosity for exploring new books and have a difficult time explaining why we can’t bring more than 10 books home each visit. Our new book tote solved the problem for me. She fully understands she can only bring home as many book that will fit in her bag.
The My Next Style sparkly iron on letters, metallic hearts, and blingy rhinestones were perfect for this project.
The tote is a great size for so many other projects too. The package comes with three totes so you have many different options!
I made the tote in less than 15 minutes and only used a few supplies.
Supplies:
- blank canvas tote
- Iron on letters, rhinestones, and embellishments
- Iron (not pictured)
The front of the bag had so much space for all the iron on letters and bling.
Begin by deciding the lettering for your bag. These totes would be great with personalized names added. Cut out each letter, peel off the top clear layer of plastic, and then place on your bag.
Place a cotton cloth over the top of the letters and then use a warm iron to apply heat for approximately 20 seconds.
Get creative and add some rhinestones or other embellishments.
I was ecstatic when I discovered exactly 10 books fit in the tote perfectly!
My daughter loves her new book bag and we no longer have any difficulty leaving the library with just 10 books.
