At eight years old, our Siberian Husky Sophie is still just as hyper and excited for a good game of “run out the front door when no one is looking” as she was the first time she went out on her own adventure as a puppy. Lucky for us, she’s also highly motivated by treats and toys. Our thankful dog treat wreath scored us extra doggy love and a turkey Sophie didn’t sneak in and steal from the dinner table. During the holiday season and a house full of yummy treats for people, we are kicking up Sophie’s behavior motivation with a holiday dog treat wreath. The wreath features favorite bone shaped toys and dog treats to remind Sophie to make good doggy choices when faced with the opportunity to create chaos.
Puppy obedience class shining student? Yes. Excellent with our young daughters? Yes. Loves to snuggle and can always turn around a grumpy day? Yes. Sprints out an open door and doesn’t return for hours causing full on panic for her people? YES, YES, YES. Hopefully the holiday dog treat wreath is a reminder to Sophie of just how much we love her and especially love when she is making good choices.

Sophie picks treats over toys but she is always up for a game of fetch.
How do you reward your dog’s good behavior?
