My parents taught me to take care of my teeth. At a young age I learned to brush, floss, and rinse morning and night. Unfortunately those three components alone did not give me perfect teeth. I had braces in junior high and had several cavities filled as a young adult. For me, having clean teeth and a clean mouth was more than just brushing, flossing, and rinsing daily. As an adult I now know I have sensitive teeth and am prone to cavities. I dread going to the dentist because I am almost certain I will have a new cavity at each visit. Hopefully by using the new Colgate Total Advanced products I will receive nothing but compliments from my dentist at my next appointment.
In addition to being concerned about cavities, I also need a whitening product to use at home. I drink coffee daily and am concerned about the resulting stains on my teeth. Several years ago I had my teeth whitened in a dental office. A few minutes into the procedure I felt twinging pain in my teeth. The dental assistant came in to check on me and I explained I was feeling something like electrical shocks in my teeth. She advised it was completely normal to feel “zingers” throughout the whitening process. Having extremely sensitive teeth, the pain intensified for the next 20 minutes and by the end of the procedure, I was literally in tears. The “zingers” continued to occur for several days. I vowed to never have my teeth whitened again. You can imagine my excitement when I learned about Colgate Total Advanced Fresh + Whitening Toothpaste. It fights germs for 12 hours and helps prevent plaque, gingivitis, tarter build up, cavities, and bad breath. Combined with a new Colgate Total Toothbrush and Colgate Total Advanced Pro Shield Mouthwash, I will be making a big difference when I brush, floss, and rinse every morning and evening.
While shopping at Walgreens recently, I picked up a few new oral health products. I bought myself a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouthwash. I purchased all three products because they sounded great for me and by using my Walgreens Balance Rewards card, I saved money. The Colgate Total Advanced products were on sale 2/$6 this week. I also purchased my daughter a new toothbrush and toothpaste. She was sick this week and I was ready to throw out her germ infested toothbrush. I was sure she would love the new electric toothbrush and watermelon toothpaste.
My daughter loves to brush her teeth and I knew she would be excited about our new tooth protection products. Later that evening I told her I had a couple of surprises. I showed her my new toothbrush and toothpaste. Then I let her watch as I brushed my teeth in her bathroom. She was excited and told me the sugar bugs were definitely gone from my teeth.
Then I surprised her with the new electric toothbrush and watermelon toothpaste. She couldn’t wait to taste the new toothpaste and feel the toothbrush tickle her teeth.
A few minutes later she was proudly showing off her happy healthy smile.
The routine is quick and I’m excited to see my results in a couple of weeks.
