The holidays are a time to enjoy the wonderful season with family and friends. But that special time of year also brings added tension to your home when preparing for guests and events. The homemade apple cider is everything you would imagine the perfect cold day to be wrapped up in a warm cup drizzled with caramel.

Caramel Apple Cider Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 gallons water
• 10 apples
• 3 c sugar
• 1/2 c brown sugar
• 2 tbsp cinnamon
• 1 tbsp ground cloves
• 1 tbsp nutmeg
• cinnamon sticks
• 1/2 c caramel syrup
• Optional: whipped and caramel topping

Core apples and cut into quarters. Then place water, apples, sugars and spices in a large pot.

Pour caramel syrup over top then bring to boil.

Cover and simmer for six hours. The cider brings an amazing smell to your home. But because we can’t make homemade apple cider everyday, the Glade®  3.4 oz.
