Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate in my preschool classroom. The children are so excited to come to school with their treats for friends. Some valentines are made by parents, some are bought from the store, and some are tiny handwritten notes from the kids themselves. Regardless of where they came from, each valentine is delivered with a big smile. This year I will be giving valentines to my students and also will be helping my daughter make valentines for her four and five year old friends in the classroom. With a long list of tasks to complete before our classroom party already, I’ve turned to Cardstore for ideas. Their blog recently shared super-uniue kids valentines that help make sending personalized cards with your child to school easy.
Last year my daughter delivered love bug valentines to her friends. Using the free love bug printable made these valentines quick and easy to make. I purchased a bag of bugs in the party supply section of Target and attached them to the cards with double sided tape.
For my own classroom I handed out donut valentines. The donut valentines printable bag topper looked adorable stapled to the top of the heart bags I found at the dollar store.
Don’t worry if you are busy and running out of time to create a clever personalized valentine for the class party. Cardstore has options that make it easy. The little valentines are cute by themselves or can be added to a treat. Later this week I’ll be sharing our plans for a fun DIY valentine using one of the Cardstore kids valentines designs.
