One of the best parts of the holiday season is watching our community come together and help those in need. Valley Honda Dealers and their team of “Guys in Blue” are spreading joy by sharing warm meals and delivering winter essentials to local Phoenix veterans. In Arizona, 13% of our homeless population are veterans. Earlier in December, Honda hosted veterans for a traditional holiday meal including turkey, stuffing, and pie.

The Guys in Blue were also out this month gifting bicycles to homeless and at risk teens. In addition to the bikes, the teens were treated to safety gear and heard safety tips from the Phoenix Police Department. The event included the opportunity to decorate cookies, share hot cocoa, and play board games.

Through Christmas the Guys in Blue are out doing random acts of kindness in our community to continue spreading their holiday cheer. Loading holiday packages, handing out umbrellas, and filling vehicles with gas are just a few of their many acts of kindness this holiday season. The Helpful Tanker Truck is out in the Phoenix area filling up community members’ cars with gas.
