My family really enjoys celebrating the Fourth of July at Disneyland. This year was no exception. We had an amazing time creating memories in Disneyland on the holiday.
We drove to Anaheim the day before and were very excited for our park visit the next morning. We started our holiday bright and early because we couldn’t wait for our day in Disneyland. Although it was a holiday and the park expected heavy traffic, it didn’t feel too crowded when we first arrived. Getting out of the parking garage and onto the tram was easy.
My daughter instantly spotted Aurora once we were inside the park. The line was very short to see the princess and my daughter was very excited to tell her all about the fun day we had planned.
Next we headed over to Fantasy Faire to meet more princesses. The meet and greet at the Royal Hall was extra special because Cinderella was the first princess we saw. My daughter couldn’t believe Cinderella was there just for her!
After we spent some time with the princesses, we went on a few attractions. The Teacups are always my daughter’s favorite to ride with her daddy. As expected, they rode several different times in the morning.
We stopped for lunch at the Hungry Bear Restaurant.
It was a warm day so we went inside Innoventions to cool off. We spent a couple of hours exploring and playing games together.
By this time my daughter was definitely ready for a nap. We normally stay in the park and let her fall asleep in the stroller. This day was different because we knew we would be up late for fireworks so we chose to go back to our hotel for a quick rest.
We returned later to the park with plenty of time for more rides and to get great seats to watch Fantasmic.
Our Fantasmic seats were also a great place to watch the patriotic fireworks display.
As we were leaving the park, my daughter was enjoying her very first Turkey Leg while sitting in her stroller. She loved it!
We had a great day in Disneyland and created many new family memories. We were excited for a full week of vacation fun including spending another day at the park later in the week.
I can’t think of a better way to spend the 4th! 🙂 How fun!!!! Love her shirt! 😉
