During my last semester of college (over 10 years ago!), I drank a chai tea latte every morning walking between classes. Years later I started making my own chai tea lattes at home with Bigelow Vanilla Chai and still favor the tea variety above all others. January is hot tea month and I’m celebrating with an easy Vanilla Chai Waffles recipe. The creamy vanilla flavor and black tea with the right balance of spices is the perfect addition to my favorite waffle recipe. I tea proudly with Bigelow, an American family brand, at Walmart!
Bigelow has been my top choice of tea for many years but I am especially drawn to them after learning about the family brand and their commitment to a loyal Tea Proudly community. #TeaProudly is a welcoming place that keeps all tea lovers informed about what’s brewing and gives rise to expression. My favorite tea moments began in college and I love that I can recreate that same delicious creamy vanilla chai latte I adored then. That flavor gives me the same wonderful feelings from moments I shared with friends in college while now enjoying it in vanilla chai waffles.
Tea fun fact: Drinking tea is trendy with almost half of Americans under the age of 30 prefering to drink tea!

I have never thought of infusing tea in a recipe this way but I LOVE it! Vanilla Chai is my favorite and we make waffles every weekend. I need to try it next time. Shouldn’t be too hard considering I have several boxes of Bigelow in my pantry! 🙂 #client
It’s the perfect way to enjoy two favorites – waffles and vanilla chai!
These look SO delicious! I love chai and honestly never thought of integrating it into a recipe. I’m definitely going to attempt to recreate your recipe.
Thanks! They are so so yummy!
How many waffles does this make? Maybe I’m missing it, but I don’t see that information.
