I just returned home from an amazing few days in Arkansas for SoFabCon, the Collective Bias Social Fabric conference. I spent time with friends and made many new connections. I’ll share more on all the fun I had later. Leading up to the conference I was focused on what I was planning to wear. It should come as no surprise that I shopped at one of my favorite stores, DownEast Basics, to find the perfect outfit for Saturday.

Shopping was fun and I found a few favorites. I love that everything I purchased can be worn so many different ways.

For the actual conference, I ended up choosing the first outfit. I added a Vintage Rose Wrap headband to complete the look.

Earlier in the week I put together a fun Arizona themed treat bag for my roommates. Each bag was filled with a Vinta ge Rose Wra p headband, a scorpion sucker, and Arizona chocolate nuggets. My roommates loved the headbands.

It’s no secret that I love DownEast Basics. The comfort and versatility in their clothes is great for me because I’m always on the run. Comfort and style are important, but being a frugal mommy makes quality a top priority. The very first time I shopped there I purchased a short sleeved cardigan and jeans. They have been through my washing machine hundreds of times and are still in excellent condition.

Last year I wore my cardigan on picture day at school. I was working at the same school my daughter attended and we were able to take a cute picture together. It’s definitely one of my favorite photos of us!

DownEast Basics has some great new styles out for Spring. I put together a couple of outfits I would love to wear this season.
