Sunkissed for Summer, Affordable Makeup from Rimmel London

You will rarely find me out of my house with out full makeup.   I am the mommy that wears makeup daily and loves playing with new products.  I know it’s not necessary, but I’ve loved cosmetics for so long I really can’t imagine myself leaving out the funnest part of my morning routine when I get ready.  I love the new summer makeup trend but I usually tend to wear a lot of eye makeup and am drawn to color.  With summer right around the corner, I tried something new this week.  Getting sunkissed for summer was easy with Rimmel London‘s affordable makeup products. Each product costs only $3.97 at Walmart and I created an entire new summer look for less than $30! 

My natural look for summer was created with just 6 Rimmel products. 

My attempt at the summer makeup trend started with the Clean Finish Matte Foundation. This foundation is lightweight and controls shine for up to 12 hours.  I’m careful when I buy foundation because I wear it daily.  I certainly don’t want something that will leave me with clogged pores.  The Rimmel foundation has oil-control minerals and won’t clog pores.

I used Glam’ Eyes Quad Eye Shadow to give my eyes just a hint of summer color. 

Next I lined my top eyelids with the Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner.  The eyeliner is ultra creamy and felt great as it was applied.  I used a brush to lightly soften the liner to match my natural look.

I used Stay Matte Pressed Powder for long lasting matte coverage.  The powder is very lightweight and provides up to 5 hours of natural shine control. 

I skipped blush and used the Natural Bronzer instead.  It gave me a light sunkissed glow. 

My summer look was completed with the Stay Glossy Lipgloss in So Fabulous.  The lipgloss gives you up to 6 hours of shine and color.  I love that this lipgloss can be used by itself for a nude look or applied over lipstick for extra shine. 

With just 6 products I created a pretty sunkissed look.  I will absolutely be trying more natural looks for summer. I am excited to try different shades and colors of Rimmel London’s affordable makeup.
