Lately I’ve been mailing cards from my three year old daughter for many different reasons. I finally found the perfect stationary that covers all events – thank you, get well, holidays, and even just a simple hello. I am thrilled with the “say anything card” I created last week!
I started with a picture of my daughter from our California vacation a couple of weeks ago.
So cute wearing a Turquoise Stripe headband from Vintage Rose Wraps! |
I used free online photo editing software to crop the photo, add a speech bubble, and frame.
Then I went to one of my favorite photo product sites, Shutterfly, to turn the image into cards.
I selected the “Picture in Landscape” card because I didn’t want an additional border added to my edited photo.
Shutterfly is very user friendly and it took less than five minutes to make my cards and place an order.
A few days later I received my daughter’s new stationary.
I can’t wait to write something clever in the speech bubbles and send the cards to friends! I’m sure I will end up making these every year with an updated picture.
I’m linking this post here.
This is awesome i have been trying to find a way of making my own cards for a while now (without using glue) hahaha
