Mother’s Day is a favorite holiday for me because it’s the day I get extra sticky kisses and handmade gifts. But it’s also a wonderful day to celebrate my own mom too. My parents have been married for 35 years and built a very strong foundation of family values. My two younger brothers and I grew up in a home full of happy memories and nothing but encouragement for every venture we took on. Our parents smiled through the many times we decided to experiment with new hobbies, change directions, and fail miserably at things we so passionately tried to convince them was a great idea. Our parents watched us fall down, get back up and try again. All the while my mom was in the background dancing as our biggest cheerleader. She is proud of each of us and beams with pride when she talks about our successes. This year for Mother’s Day, my brothers and I are celebrating her with a family memories frame. Thanks to Gifts.com for the complimentary frame; it’s the perfect Mother’s Day gift from adult siblings. The memories in the collage frame represent each of us and our own families which perfectly tells the story of everything that makes my mom proud.
I asked my brothers to send me some favorite photos of my mom with their children. I printed all the photos from my home printer and included a few of my brothers and I together. Favorite family photos include photos of our children and my mom snuggling her grandbabies.
I trimmed the photos and inserted them in the family memories photo frame.
The message in the frame is perfect. Gifts.com had a couple of different options and I love how nicely the personalization added to the frame.
The best things in life are the people we love…the places we’ve been…and the memories we’ve made along the way.
I stamped “mom” on a card and wrapped the gift with twine.
My brothers and I are looking forward to gifting my mom this special Mother’s Day gift from adult siblings this weekend. Happy Mother’s Day to the best mom ever!
