The weather couldn’t have been more perfect this week to get outside and enjoy the fresh air. We had family fun at the zoo and I enjoyed watching my daughters share their special sister bond exploring together. Our oldest daughter was six years old when her baby sister was born. She quickly transitioned from an only child to an amazing big sister. It’s days like this, outside giggling in the sunshine, that we really are reminded just how much they are growing and learning together. We visit the Phoenix Zoo often and my daughters have a very specific route they like to take. This day was different. The bright sunshine had all the animals out and we started our visit watching birds on the lake.
The tortoises were enjoying fresh veggies.
The horses were running and playing.
Baby sister was chasing shadows.
I was a happy mom watching my girls soak up the sunshine and play together. We stopped for a snack and I overheard the cutest sister conversation.
“Sister, these bears are nummy.”
