Last week my family attended the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® circus to see the Built to Amaze presentation. We had an amazing time and made unforgettable family memories.
My husband and I have attended the circus before and knew it was going to be an event to remember. We talked about the circus with my daughter for weeks leading up to the show’s opening night. She had watched several performance clips online and couldn’t wait for the big day to arrive. We made it to the US Airways Center with some time before the show started to attend the Pre-Show. Every ticket holder has access to the fun Pre-Show where you get to meet the entertainers, try on costumes, and pose for pictures. Following the Pre-Show, my daughter was very excited to find our seats for the show. On the way to our seats we looked at the circus merchandise, stopped for silly pictures, and picked up a few yummy treats for show.
The show was entertaining from the moment it began. This circus presentation is full of everything you would imagine in a traditional circus and so much more.
The funny magic show had my daughter giggling in her seat next to me.
The energetic clowns had everyone cheering.
The strength of the performers is incredible.
Can you imagine playing basketball on a unicycle? These performers were so much fun to watch.
I’m sure my daughter is already planning on attempting to walk on the ceiling at home after seeing this incredible act.
When I think of a tight rope walker, a lady standing on a chair suspended over two bicyclists surely does not come to mind.
We were very excited to see Elianna Grace , the human cannon ball.
In addition to incredible acrobats and funny clowns, watching the animals perform was a great part of the show. My daughter has big plans to train our dog to do some of the fun tricks she saw at the circus.
We were in complete awe of the beautiful tigers of the show.
Going to the circus as a child, my best memory is watching the elephants perform. I really enjoyed getting to share that same experience with my daughter. The beauty and talent of the circus elephants is magical.
My family had a great experience at the Built to Amaze presentation. My daughter is already asking when we can see the circus again.
The circus presentation lasts just over two hours with one 15 minute intermission. My four year old daughter was so amazed by the music, lights, and colors that she did not ask to leave her chair once.
