Easy kid friendly pasta salad recipe

Regardless of the time of year, our home is always busy. But add in the holiday season and sometimes I wonder how we keep things running so smoothly. Don’t be fooled, it’s not always smooth around here but something I do to make it feel easier on our busiest of days is keep our pantry stocked with ingredients for quick meals the entire family will love. Pizza night is a favorite in our home but delivery isn’t where I turn when we’re busy. $20 and an hour wait for a hot pizza is not something we look forward to so instead, I make sure I always have few of our favorite Freschetta frozen pizzas from Walmart in our freezer. Freschetta ingredients are what set this pizza apart from other frozen pizza brands and unless they see me put it in the oven, my family doesn’t realize they didn’t hear the doorbell ring before that pizza magically showed up on our dinner table.

Pizza night is usually a favorite but my easy kid friendly pasta salad is a great addition to the table when baby sister wants to fill up her plate with several options. Easy kid friendly pasta salad recipe

Ingredients:

• tri-color rotini
• cheddar cheese 
• white cheddar 
• 1 C plain greek yogurt
• 1/2 C mayonnaise

While pasta is boiling chop your cheese into small cubes. 

Rinse pasta in cool water so it’s not hot when you mix it in the salad.

Mix pasta, cheese, yogurt and mayonnaise in large bowl. 

Serve with your favorite Freschetta pizza for an easy meal the entire family will love!
