This summer the new Wonder Woman will be playing in theaters and we are getting ready with an awesome Dr Pepper® Ice Cream Shake recipe inspired by the film. I grew up loving Wonder Woman because she is confident and strong, a wonderful role model for girls. She also was important in my childhood because the star of the TV series, Lynda Carter, attended the same high school as my mother in Globe, Arizona. Our tiny mining town has a real soft spot for Wonder Woman and I’m so excited to see the new film next month. Dr Pepper and Orville Redenbacher’s® at Fry’s, my local Kroger grocery store, are celebrating with Wonder Woman packaging and adding to the enthusiasm as we wait for this summer’s next big film. Dr Pepper ice cream floats have always been a favorite but we’ve elevated it to a shake topped with whipped topping, gold and star sprinkles, a cookie and added a red licorice straw. The Wonder Woman cans turn a plain ice cream float into a wonderful dessert for a superhero celebration.
Movies give us a reason to connect with friends and loved ones. Dr Pepper and Orville Redenbacher® are adding to the reasons why we love summer films. New Wonder Woman cans and popcorn packaging have my family excited for Wonder Woman coming to theaters June 2nd.
My mom is my hero. She works at the post office in my small hometown and I’m sure most days many at the post office actually call her their hero too. She works a lot but loves what she does and is the best grandmother. I’ll be seeing Wonder Woman in theaters with her and can’t wait to share a tasty treat.

Dr Pepper Ice Cream Shake Recipe
Ingredients:
- Dr Pepper
- Vanilla ice cream
- Soft chocolate chip cookies
- Whipped topping
- Red licorice
- Gold sprinkles
- Star sprinkles
Pour Dr Pepper over one scoop of ice cream to fill bottom of glass.
Repeat ice cream and Dr Pepper layers until cup is full. Use knife to cut slit in soft chocolate chip cookie. Place cookie on edge of cup.
Top Dr Pepper ice cream shake with whipped topping and sprinkles. Add red licorice for straw.
