It’s no secret that we are big fans of Disney FROZEN. My daughter has the soundtrack on her iPad and sings the songs all day long. She sings in the bath, in the car, at school, at the dinner table, and even in bed. We have been looking forward to attending the Disney FROZEN sing along since I purchased tickets online last week. She had so much fun and we both sang our little hearts out together in the movie theater.
My daughter wore the shirt she received at her perfect birthday celebrating all day with FROZEN. I purchased tickets online and brought my receipt with me to the theater. We skipped the line and were excited to start singing. It was tough convincing my daughter not to sit in the front row. She was so excited and determined to pick the perfect seat.
Not sure what to expect I didn’t tell my daughter we were seeing the movie. Instead I told her we were going to the theater to sing her favorite FROZEN songs. She was elated when FROZEN started playing. We have seen the film three times in the theater already but she asks to see it again almost daily. The movie viewing experience is identical with the addition of the song lyrics and a snowflake bouncing on the words as the songs play.
My five year old daughter can’t read yet and the lyrics across the bottom of the screen didn’t make a difference to her. The other children excited in the theater singing along made it more fun for my daughter to sing all the songs. If you have children that cannot read I would suggest simply telling them you are going to a theater where it’s okay to sing loudly. Or don’t tell them anything more than you are going to see FROZEN in the theater again (or for the first time). Although I love the soundtrack and hear all the four and five year olds in my preschool classroom sing the songs all day long, I was very appreciative for the scrolling lyrics. Two hours of Disney FROZEN karaoke with my daughter was a blast!

If you haven’t seen FROZEN yet, the sing along is also a perfect way to see it for the first time. With the addition of the song lyrics you’ll walk out of the theater knowing all the words to your new favorite movie soundtrack!
What is your favorite song from Disney FROZEN?
That looks like a BLAST! Campbell is also singing her Frozen heart out everywhere. I was totally embarrassed the other day when we were both singing “Let it Go” at the top of our lungs in the car and she rolled the window down! Ugh!
