With our Arizona summer temperatures reaching record breaking highs last week we have been spending most of our time in our backyard pool with an occasional break for indoor fun. We spent a great family day at the dinosaur museum and took an excessive amount of photos to remember little sister’s first magical experience. She is currently obsessed with dinosaurs so it was a very fun time for her full of many “WOW look at that,” moments. At just two years old, she can identify many dinosaurs and like most children, is in awe of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. The Arizona Museum of Natural History has so much to look at and kept us cool inside for a full day of exploring with the dinosaurs. We captured all the fun with our new LG L59 – Grace and didn’t mind sharing while we were there because of the new Walmart Family Mobile $49.88 PLUS Plan powered by T-Mobile. The unlimited plan includes Talk, Text, & Data which includes up to 15GB of 4G LTE† then 2G*. After our visit we came home and printed so many of our favorite photos so little sister could continue learning about dinosaurs and keep us laughing about all the silly things she pointed out at the museum. My tips for printing photos at home include what to do with them after they’re printed – photo albums, frames and even placemats continue the summer fun!
With Walmart Family Mobile, there is no activation fee and no contract so you can truly walk in at anytime and start your service. You can even bring in an old phone to activate. This is perfect for summertime with kids at home! My daughter loves taking photos during our summer adventures and really enjoyed using the new phone to capture all our fun at the dinosaur museum.
Walmart Family Mobile customers on the $49.88 PLUS Plan will receive a free VUDU◊ movie rental credit valued at $7.00 each time they renew their service. I see a summer Jurassic Park movie night in our future!
The photos captured on the mobile phone from the dinosaur museum were stunning.
Although we have many to choose from, a personal favorite from this visit to the dinosaur museum is my daughter taking a picture of the Tyrannosaurus Rex Skeleton. It perfectly captures her interest in science and photography.
We printed all the photos on our home printer, our HP ENVY 7640 and were so impressed with the color.
Tips for Printing your Summer Photos at Home
Make sure your printer has color ink cartridges and photo paper stocked. Decide on paper sizes and the projects you intend to make with your photos prior to printing so you don’t overprint and use unnecessary ink.
Make a photo album
We printed all the photos in a 4×6″ size and placed them in a floppy photo album so little sister could have a book of the visit.
Make placemats
Print 8×10″ photos to laminate for placemats.
The placemats can be used on your dinner table or for messy play projects. I’m sure little sister will be using them for both.
Frame photos
Print larger photos and frame. Place on a shelf next to your child’s favorite corresponding toy. For little sister it’s her dinosaur collection!
Little sister is reliving all those magical moments at the dinosaur museum over and over in her printed photo album. I want to bottle up that little “wow,” and keep it forever. Better yet, I’ll just record it on my phone and play it whenever I need a reason to smile.
Do you have tips for printing your summer photos at home too?

I haven’t printed photos in years. I have thousands of them saved, but need to make books out of them one of these days.
Those pictures came out fabulous! It’s been a while since I printed pictures. I used to make books all the time. I do make photo gifts for the holidays for my mom and I’ve used Walmart in the past to do it. They came out great. I love the idea of making placemats!

My kids would love this museum and I haven’t printed photos in a while. Especially at home. I need to though so I don’t lose them all on computer.
