I’m the perfect person to attend the 2013 CYBHER Conference in London!

Getting laid off from my corporate position on maternity leave almost five years ago is definitely not something I planned.  That misfortune turned into an amazing opportunity to express myself in my own little space of the internet, my blog.  Having a blog was initially the space filler for my job that I missed dearly.  I jumped into an unknown world and was welcomed with open arms.  I was given the opportunity to build online relationships with a wonderful community.  Most of my closest friends are people I might have never met had I not been blogging. 

Last year I was welcomed into the Collective Bias® Social Fabric community and have had an amazing experience.  The community is very friendly and everyone I’ve interacted with has been nothing short of incredible and willing to help me learn and grow.  I have had unbelievable opportunities working with great brands and getting to learn under some extremely talented mentors.

Next week I will be attending Social Fabric’s first community conference, SoFabCon, and I couldn’t be more excited.  I have already met a handful of friends from the community in person, but I cannot wait to get to see everyone I’ve been spending hours online chatting with over the past year.  

The only thing that would make my experience as a Social Fabric community member better is getting the opportunity to also meet our UK friends!  Going to the Cybher Conference in London this summer would be, hands down, my biggest blogging accomplishment.  In addition to having an unbelievable social experience, I can’t begin to express my excitement about the amazing schedule. I would learn so much in London!

It’s not just for a good time, I have some very important reasons why I should attend.

I would love to add international flare to my blog.

I would love to make some UK BFFs!

I’m sure I could make a Buckingham Palace Guard laugh.

I would love to meet the Queen of England.

I need to catch Peter Pan’s shadow.

Seeing Big Ben would definitely help improve my punctuality.

I love tea.

My only regret in college was not studying abroad.

Now that I’m married with a four year old daughter and working as a preschool teacher, going abroad for an amazing educational experience with my online peers is not something I ever thought would be possible.  

I love my family and wouldn’t change anything about all the fun we’ve had together but my first time in London with a super blogging community would make my life complete.
