We are officially on summer break and couldn’t be more excited about the fun we have planned over the next couple of months. Today was my daughter’s last day of second grade and she has already decided this will be the best summer ever. Agreed, said with a little hesitation knowing there will be plenty of days with my girls at home wondering how we are spending the day. With Paper Punk® art kits exclusively available at Target, I won’t be scrambling for ideas on my busiest work days. It’s so easy to let our children turn to electronics but in an effort to limit their screen time, hands on activities will be a fun diversion. Thanks to Paper Punk® for the complimentary products to get our summer fun started!
Paper Punk® is a LEGO + Origami mash up that was invented by a Stanford design professor and mom with one ambition, to enable people to be creative and make things with their hands in a digitally dominated world through hands-on play. The new Graffiti Blocks Craft Kit and My Life as a Fashion Designer Kit have already made appearances at slumber parties in our home. The mess free art activity is great for children of all ages and little sister joined the fun too.
Both kits are great for creative expression for limitless design opportunities with markers and stickers.
The Graffiti Blocks let you color, fold and build a graffiti wall without scissors or glue.
Recently I’ve found fashion sketches in my eight year old daughter‘s backpack so I knew she would love the fashion design kit. The kit includes a fashion studio backdrop, adhesive dots, stickers, shapes, designer worksheet and markers.
The kits provide endless entertainment for children and help build self expression confidence.
How will you keep your children busy at home for summer?

I love the idea! It’s definitely nice that there are activities like this for the kids. Coloring seems to be one of their favorite activities especially during their free time.
These look like so much fun I bet your kids will love playing with them during the summer break, I can’t believe how early they’ve broken up though. In the UK they have next week off then it’s another 6 weeks before the summer holiday x
I wish I had younger kids so I could get them this but I have nieces and nephews that would love this. That fashion designer is an activity any young girl would enjoy creating.
This looks like an absolute blast. My daughter would love these Paper Punk Art Kits!
Ok – is it bad that I would like to play with this myself? What a fabulous hands-on activity that is unique and trendy and so cool!
These remind me of some coloring/craft kids from when I was a kid. They look like so much fun and a great way to keep kids entertained all summer long.
I would just like to say that these kits look absolutely amazing! And I definitely want to get one for me! And I’m sure my kids would also enjoy them 🙂
I actually have one of these a friend gave me in college and I use it to relieve stress. It looks like it is enjoyable for them and a fun activity.
Oh, I absolutely need to check out these amazing craft kits for my kids. Sounds like they’re fun and educational too, now that summer vacation is coming up soon!
I am so jealous that you guys are already out of school for the summer. Our last day of school here in New York City is June 28th and that seems so far away.
I totally love working with words, coloring and designing! Loved it since I was young because it’s so much fun! http://www.clairebearblogs.com
