The wildly creative children’s book, “The BFG” by Roald Dahl, has been brought to life and is in theaters today, July 1st! The magical story of Sophie, the curious orphan, and her friendship with a big friendly giant is a wonderful story about friendship and imagination. This summer my seven year old daughter is reading the book and will be spending her time in the car on our summer road trip entertained by The BFG summer road trip activities and reading log.
The BFG is a great movie and reason to add “The BFG” to your child’s summer reading list. Purchase the book (affiliate link) and make a fun BFG bookmark. Then print The BFG reading log to encourage summer reading and a love for a classic children’s story.
To make a BFG bookmark, begin by having your child select their favorite designs then print the BFG Bookmarks. Fold in half, cut, and fully cover with clear packaging tape.
Add to the summer road trip fun by printing the BFG summer road trip activity sheets and organize in a three ring binder.

What is your favorite part of The BFG? I loved watching Sophie’s reaction to the big friendly giant dining with the queen.
How fun! We are currently on a road trip, reading this book as a family!!!
