My Sports Mom Back to School Tips help me get through the busiest time of year seamlessly by making sure everyday my car includes the basic necessities.

Now that we are getting back into the swing of our school routine, I’m slowly finding ways to make the transition to our busiest time of year smooth for the entire family. My eight year old daughter just started third grade and with a very demanding rock climbing team schedule, we’ve been running from school drop off to pick up to practice leaving no time in between. Wet Ones® Hand Wipes has been a lifesaver more than once when snacks happened before practice in the car. My best Sports Mom Back to School Tips include keeping Wet Ones® in the car for those unexpected messes and currently as an added bonus, there’s now a sweepstakes to enter to win a trip to Universal Orlando Resort™ on Specially Marked Wet Ones® Hand Wipes canisters (40 ct.) and travel packs (20 ct.), which feature two of Universal Orlando Resort’s hit attractions – Shrek 4D and Transformers™: The Ride-3D!

My daughter has been on a competitive rock climbing team for the past year. It’s been an incredible journey watching her grow and mature in the sport. She quickly went from visiting the rock climbing gym for fun to competing with a team practicing for several hours multiple times a week. The sport is very physically demanding and she is committed to her personal growth.

Her weekly practice days are consistently the same but with personal climb days added to the routine, I usually have my schedule mixed up. Add in our other commitments and there’s always the possibility of an error. My organization skills are stellar but I won’t say I’ve never accidentally forgotten practice clothes at school pick up or arrived with the wrong bag. Not this year. This school year I have an action plan to keep me prepared for every after school activity. My Sports Mom Back to School Tips are a no fail approach to help me get through the busiest time of year seamlessly by making sure everyday my car includes the basic necessities. Sports equipment can’t be in the car everyday but if it’s forgotten my daughter can use equipment at the gym. What she can’t borrow at the gym will be in my car!

We have exactly an hour to get my daughter to her rock climbing gym that’s 40 minutes from her school. With any traffic or other delays, we arrive right on time. At pick up she hops in the car and is ready for a snack.

Following my quick tips, I’ve packed a lunchbox full of snacks for her to bring to practice. This day she chose a nectarine to eat in the car. You know, because it’s juicy and messy and likely will drip everywhere.

This mom’s not worried because I have Wet Ones® in the car too. The convenient 2-in-1 way to wipe out dirt and messes when water isn’t available, making them easy on skin for even the littlest of hands – something very important for our little rock climber who is already very rough on her pretty hands.

Thanks to Wet Ones® we don’t have to make an extra stop to clean up and my daughter makes it to practice on time. Wet Ones® Hand Wipes clean better than hand sanitizers and are available in a variety of sizes. I keep a canister in my car console to make sure they are always available when we need them most.

Wet Ones® travel packs are great to toss in your purse or lunch bag. You can find great savings on Wet Ones® with this Ibotta offer.

  1. Water and snacks is definitely important especially since the kids are going to be extra active. I think it’s awesome that you also included wet ones, that’s a life saver! I always have it in my bag!

  2. I cannot leave the house without wet ones in my bag or in my car. The kids all have it as well, it’s really a must have! It’s also very important to have snacks and water, this is exactly what my 2 boys who are very much into basketball have in their bags.

  5. Wet wipes are quite handy and if she’s into sports then its good that you have one of those. Especially if she is doing rock climbing which would get her hands dirty then having wet wipes would totally be a good choice.
