Monsters University Nails

We’ve had a very exciting start to summer with the new Monsters University playing in theatres.   This week I had some fun with a monsters inspired manicure.  We are going on a family vacation next week and I’m looking forward to wearing my new Monsters University nails in Disneyland! 

I used three different Revlon nail polishes to create my Monsters University nails: impulsive, zealous, and trendy.  The colors were almost a perfect match to Mike and Sully.

I started by painting all but one accent nail blue (trendy).  I used the bright green (zealous) to paint one accent nail on each hand.

I used a white paint pen to add Mike’s eye on my accent nail.  I finished the eye with a small drop of blue in the middle.

Next I used purple (impulsive) to add dots to all the other nails.  The blue with purple dots were the perfect representation of Sully.

One coat of clear and my Monsters University nails were finished.

My new manicure is fun for the summer and perfect for our visit to Disneyland later next week.
