Little Green safe, gentle, and pure products for babies and kids {giveaway ends 4/11}

Growing up with sensitive skin I know how challenging it can be to find the right bath products. I am very light complected and just a touch turns me bright red. Luckily my daughter does not have that same sensitivity but we have been searching for a kid friendly moisturizing shampoo after the winter left her with a dry scalp. When Little Green reached out to me online, I was looking forward to trying the safe, gentle, and pure products formulated for sensitive skin. All the products are clinically and dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic with no parabens, allergens, or sulfates. Little Green was created by a grandfather looking to create delicate formulas that respect children and the environment they will grow up in.

From the moment the Little Green package arrived at our home, my daughter couldn’t wait to try out her new shampoo. The bottle has a cute design with a flower in the logo so it naturally caught her attention. Her enthusiasm continued the first time she used the Little Green kids shampoo & body wash in the bath. She loved the light scent and all the soapy bubbles in her hair.

One of the biggest struggles I have getting my daughter ready for school each morning is combing and fixing her hair. During the winter her scalp is very dry and the doctor recommended using a moisturizing detangler. We’ve tried many different detanglers and she has not been happy with any of them until we tried the  Little Green conditioning detangler. The detangler has a very light scent and is very easy for my daughter to spray on her own hair.

Every time my daughter gets a cold with runny nose she gets a little rash from wiping with tissues all day. The Little Green soothing balm is the answer to chapped lips, cheeks and redness due to runny noses and dry patches. The hypoallergenic balm is formulated to moisturize and nourish while protecting against summer and winter skin conditions.

I remember being in kindergarten and my entire class getting lice. We were all home for the week and our parents combed through our tangled hair with the tiny comb. Not a fun experience and something I remember vividly. Having a daughter almost in kindergarten and being a preschool teacher means I’ve seen my fair share of lice. While it happens more often than you would like to think, it’s still every parent’s nightmare. If your child has ever been exposed to lice and you’ve received that dreaded notice, you know the “what do I do now?” panic that sets in. Just because you’re child didn’t get lice, knowing they were exposed is still enough to send you into a frenzy looking for options to prevent an infestation. The Little Green lice guard system is made up of three non toxic products that are clinically proven to help prevent lice infestation. Lice guard shampoo, detangler, and styling gel are formulated with a proprietary blend of natural tea tree, neem, rosemary, peppermint, lavender, and eucalyptus oils to effectively help repel head lice. Having the lice guard system on hand means I’ll be ready if we ever need some extra protection.
