Family fun at Bearizona drive-thru wildlife park in Williams, Arizona

My family spent a fun day at Bearizona, the drive-thru wildlife park in Williams, Arizona. It was not our first visit and definitely not our last. With so many great learning opportunities to see animals in their natural environment, we left the park already talking about our next visit.

The drive-thru park features a variety of North American animals spread over a scenic two-mile route. You will experience an up close view of the beautiful animals behaving in their natural environments. Each animal area is separated and clearly marked. A complimentary GPS audio tour provided as your enter the park shares facts about the animals as you drive.

The animals are active during all seasons but we really enjoyed seeing them in the snow.

The wolves were especially entertaining because we have a Siberian Husky at home that is always mistaken for a wolf.

With so many bears to see we circled around the path several times!

At the end of the driving experience you stop and get the opportunity to growl for a sticker from a Bearizona attendant.

Fort Bearizona is a walking park located at the end of the drive-thru experience. The otters were a family favorite!

My daughter enjoyed seeing the goats and ducks in the petting zoo.

The gift shop near the entrance is where you’ll find fun souvenirs and merchandise.

The Warpath Design shop is full of beautiful Native American art and jewelry.

Bearizona is open daily year round but I would suggest you check the road conditions if you are visiting in the winter. The animals will be just as much fun to see in the spring and we can’t wait to visit again!
