Disneyland Tips: Dining and Indoor Rest Stop – River Belle Terrace

We were just in Disneyland a few weeks ago and my daughter is already asking to go back.  This morning I asked what she missed the most and she told me she would really like to have a sucker from Disneyland for breakfast.  We definitely enjoy a decent amount of sweet treats at Disneyland but she has never had a sucker for breakfast.  Silly girl.

Although a sucker for breakfast sounds ridiculous, I wouldn’t mind stopping by Marceline’s Confectionery in Downtown Disney for a treat today too.

My daughter is three and old enough to tell us her food preferences.  While there are plenty of sugary treat options, Disney does a great job making sure there are healthy dining options for kids too.  Our last visit my daughter decided she was a big fan of the River Belle Terrace in Frontierland.

If you’re interested in Disney history, the River Belle Terrace is a great place to go for a quick break.  The building is one of the park’s original eateries from the opening in 1955.  It’s claimed that Walt Disney had breakfast there.  In addition to the fun history, the indoor seating is a great place to escape the heat or rain.  When my daughter was smaller I was always seeking out places to stop and rest while she napped in the stroller.  Add this to my list of favorite stops!
