My family attended the Discover the Dinosaurs event in Phoenix and had so much fun while we learned about dinosaurs. The lifelike dinosaurs and many activities made this a perfect way to spend the day with family.
We began our journey through the different worlds full of animatronic dinosaurs. We stopped to read the facts and information along the way.
The dinosaurs were unbelievable with very realistic appearances and movement.
Most of the dinosaurs were positioned for curious hands to touch and feel. You even had the opportunity to control some of the dinosaurs!
The different worlds were designed to showcase a variety of time periods and many different dinosaurs.
Following the animatronics display, we browsed the dinosaur merchandise at the event.
Many different photo opportunities were spread throughout the event. My daughter instantly wanted to see the picture she had taken inside the Tyrannosaurus Rex mouth.
The play area was huge with many different dinosaur inflatables and activities. Sliding down a T-Rex was awesome!
With face painting, miniature golf, discovering fossils and more, we had a tough time choosing what to do next. We ventured over the gem and mineral panning area to see if we could find any treasures.
My daughter and nephew each left with a huge bag of gems and minerals!
Upon entering the event my parents and nephew posed in front of a green screen for a photo. My nephew was very surprised to see T-Rex had joined his picture when my mom showed him the souvenir.
If you have dinosaur loving children at home this event shouldn’t be missed! We had a great family day with so many learning opportunities and fun activities.
