Disneyland Cast Members add to the Magic with Kindness

Prior to having our daughter, my husband and I visited Disneyland together frequently.  We absolutely appreciated our Disney time as adults but knew it was a place where many families made vacation memories.  Although we did not have any children of our own yet, the excitement and joy when a child first discovers Disney is contagious. In May of 2005, as annual pass holders, we attended a press event for the 50th anniversary at Disneyland.  We had an amazing experience Read More... {Read More...}

Celebrating a Birthday in Disneyland: How To Make It Amazing!

  In addition to celebrating my daughter's birthday with a super fun art themed party, we also planned an amazing weekend in Disneyland.  Our family loves Disney and we spend most birthdays there.  We have countless memories of great visits but this was, by far, the best for our daughter! Her birthday morning began at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a full princess salon experience. A special fairy godmother in training helped her pick out a dress and hair Read More... {Read More...}

Disney Princess Ultimate Dream Castle and Cinderella Transforming Carriage

Last week I shared the fun I had shopping with my daughter for her Disney Princess birthday gifts.  Our Mother/Daughter Shopping experience was great and the products we brought home have been so much fun for both of us!  Having the  Ultimate Dream Castle in her bedroom has completely intensified her love for the Disney Princesses! My daughter wanted to put the castle together the second we walked it into our home.  She has had the castle on her birthday and holiday wish list for a long time Read More... {Read More...}

Disney Princess Mother/Daughter Shopping Fun

I've been talking a lot about princesses lately. Mostly because I'm almost finished with my daughter's princess bedroom transition.  Also because we are planning a special surprise weekend in Disneyland for her fourth birthday next month.  We have already purchased the new Cinderella Blu-Ray DVD as a gift and I've been paying close attention to my daughter's holiday wishlist.  She has been talking about the Mattel Ultimate Dream Castle for a few months.  As you can imagine, she was ridiculously Read More... {Read More...}

Disneyland Tips: Dining and Indoor Rest Stop – River Belle Terrace

We were just in Disneyland a few weeks ago and my daughter is already asking to go back.  This morning I asked what she missed the most and she told me she would really like to have a sucker from Disneyland for breakfast.  We definitely enjoy a decent amount of sweet treats at Disneyland but she has never had a sucker for breakfast.  Silly girl. Although a sucker for breakfast sounds ridiculous, I wouldn't mind stopping by Marceline's Confectionery in Downtown Read More... {Read More...}

Disney Pin Trading – my daughter’s fun first experience

A couple of weeks ago we went on vacation to California.  We spent almost an entire week in Disneyland and California Adventure.  We had so much fun!  I've talked about our many visits to Disneyland before and you probably already know I consider myself a pro at visiting with infants and toddlers.  As my daughter is growing we are getting to experience new things at the park each visit.  This trip she discovered pin trading. According to a little online research, Read More... {Read More...}

Travel Tips for Disneyland with Infants and Toddlers

With experience from hundreds of visits to Disneyland with my daughter as an infant and toddler, it's easy to forget the challenges we have faced to make park visits enjoyable over the years. We love visiting Disneyland and drive there from Arizona multiple times each year. I'll openly admit going to the park with our daughter for the first time at just nine months old was scary.  We were no longer the Disneyland navigating pros going to our favorite vacation destination. We were Read More... {Read More...}
