Halloween is a favorite holiday and we love seeing our neighbors get festive with decorations and treats to share. This year we are surprising our neighbors by BOO’ing It Forward and hosting a party. American Greetings® party supplies, our favorite MARS and Wrigley candy and Dr Pepper monster cans made it easy to create a BOO Kit to deliver to neighbors and plan the party. The creepy crawly treats featuring SNICKERS® Cockroaches and TWIX® Centipedes are a great way to really wow your neighbors! One quick stop at Walmart, in store or online, and you can easily purchase everything you need for a great BOO Kit to share with neighbors and host your own BOO It Forward Halloween party! I found the limited edition cans in store at my local Walmart too.

The center of a great party is always the food and drinks. A giant bowl of MARS and Wrigley candy makes a great centerpiece for your party!

SNICKERS® Cockroaches and TWIX® Centipedes are fun to make and loved by all! They can top cookies or cupcakes and creating the bug treats could easily be a fun party activity.

Show off the festive Halloween Dr Pepper monster cans with dry ice! Use a large tub to fill with water then set in a smaller tub to hold the soda cans. Carefully drop pieces of dry ice into the tub with water. The dry ice is distanced from the actual cans and perfectly safe for your guests to select their favorite monster! When shopping for the monster cans, be sure to use the Mini Monsters Augmented Reality App and see the monsters interact with each other!

Instead of tablecloths, I used festive colored fleece to top the table and create the backdrop. A big orange pumpkin adds just the right amount of color and balance to your party table!

party tip: real pumpkins cost far less than decorative pumpkins, save and purchase the ingredient for your next holiday pie!

  1. Lol, as someone who has lived in cities and sees lots of cockroaches, those cockroach cookies seem really true to life. I think I would get shivers eating them! I love the limited edition soda cans. I think it’s a great idea to Boo it forward!

  3. I’ve been boo’d before but your ideas are far better than any I’ve seen. I think I’m going to have my kids decide on 3 people to boo and we’ll do it! They are teenagers so we jump at any opportunity for acts of kindness.
